Third-Party Partnerships/Brokerage Programs

P2P and municipal Recreation departments aim to deliver a strategic approach to providing affordable access to recreation, cultural and artistic programming to Windsor-Essex residents living in low-income households. Sports leagues, non-profit organizations, recreation and cultural service providers may offer subsidized programs through the 90% Recreation Discount. Programs may include but are not limited to: 

  • Youth baseball leagues
  • Minor hockey associations 
  • Dance organizations 
  • Scout clubs 
  • Art programs 
  • Equestrian lessons 

Third-party/broker partners are based on applicants meeting the following requirements:

  • Organization within Windsor-Essex County; 
  • Non-profit charitable organization or a socially responsible private-sector organization; 
  • Social programs which promote healthy child development, social inclusion, income support and higher educational achievement, constitute one aspect of an overall strategy aimed at ensuring the greatest possible economic and social equity for all children and their families;
  • It enhances the quality of life of residents who are living with low income.
