Our mission is to provide safe, reliable and affordable public transit for the community through continuous improvement in customer care, environmental stewardship and employee excellence.

Effective July 8, 2024, Transit Windsor transitioned its reporting structure to the Office of the Commissioner of Economic Development. Jelena Payne, Commissioner of Economic Development, oversees Building Services, Economic Development, Planning and Development Services, and Transit Windsor.

Welcome Aboard

Every year Transit Windsor travels more than 5.5 million kilometres throughout our community. During peak weekday travel times, we have 86 buses on the road and 72 buses during weekend and evening peak travel times. This is accomplished with a fleet of 117 buses, all of which are fully accessible.

Taking you to your destination quickly and safely is our priority. Please be patient during adverse weather and traffic delays. You should make reasonable allowances when arriving at boarding points.
