Community/regional parks are designed for the recreation and leisure activities of all Windsor residents and/or the broader regional population. Neighbourhood parks are designed for the recreation and leisure activities of residents within a defined service radius of the neighbourhood.
The city is also comprised of a number of natural open spaces such as Ojibway and Spring Garden, and there are many recreationways that link the city together with a series of trail networks.
The Parks Development Division strives to create parks within the community that offer a wide variety of leisure and recreational services while providing the citizens of Windsor with both passive and active spaces that foster a sense of community and positive wellbeing.
The Parks Development Division is always open to hearing your ideas. We want to know how to make our parks the best they can be.
