Special Meeting of City Council: 2025 Operating and Capital Recommended Budgets

City Council will be considering the City of Windsor’s 2025 Recommended Operating and 10-Year Capital Budget, and are seeking public input. Interested individuals or agencies are invited to provide written comments or can appear in person or electronically as a delegation before Council as follows:

Monday, January 27, 2025, at 10:00 o’clock a.m.

Council members will have the option of participating in person in Council Chambers or electronically and will be counted towards quorum in accordance with Procedure By-law 98-2011 as amended, which allows for electronic meetings during a declared emergency. The minutes will reflect this accordingly.

To appear as a delegate, please contact Council Services at 519-255-6432 no later than 12:00 o’clock noon on Friday, January 10, 2025, to register. Audiovisual equipment may be available if requested at the time of your call. Please be advised, presentations cannot exceed five minutes.

Written submissions are encouraged. Please submit them to Council Services at 350 City Hall Square West, Room 530, Windsor City Hall, or fax to 519-255-6868, or email to clerks@citywindsor.ca no later than 12:00 o’clock noon on Friday, January 10, 2025.

Furthermore, Windsor City Council may schedule additional meeting dates to deliberate and allow for any amendments to be considered within the required 30-day time frame (or shorter period as amended by council resolution) when Windsor’s budget shall be deemed adopted.
