Make a Payment
Payment can be made by the following methods:
E-Transfer:
Windsor-Essex Provincial Offences (POA) has expanded its payment options soon to include e-transfers.
Instructions for E-Transfer:
When e-transferring funds, the following details must be included in your e-transfer payment message field:
- Please use the following email: poa.payments@citywindsor.ca
- The 8-digit offence number found in the top right corner of your ticket as seen in this Certificate of Offence example or
- The Offence Number provided on the Notice of Fine and Due Date
- Your full name and date of birth in yyyy/mm/dd (year/month/day) format
- Your email address and phone number
- As the sender, you will receive an automatic e-transfer withdrawal notification. This will be your payment receipt. It is recommended you keep a record of your payment.
- Failure to include the above details in your e-transfer message field may result in a declined payment or a delay in payment processing. Processing time may take up to three days. We ask that you monitor your email and ensure your fine is paid in advance of the due date.
- E-Transfer is only accepted for Provincial Offences fines owed in Windsor—Essex. Parking fines, criminal fines or fines owed to other courts cannot be paid in this manner.
Online:
- The only online payment option is www.paytickets.ca (have your ticket information available). Please note, only full payments of fines are accepted online (partial payments must be made by phone or in person).
In person:
- Visit 400 City Hall Square East, Suite 401 (located on the 4th floor)
By mail:
- To pay by mail, please complete the Credit Card Payment Request Form for Outstanding Fines and mail to the address found below.
