Regional Community Safety and Well-Being Asset Map

Map on a laptop and words, The Regional Community Safety and Well-Being Asset Map

The Windsor Essex Regional Community Safety and Well-Being (WE RCSWB) Asset Map is an interactive tool that highlights the physical locations of community assets including local institutions, organizations, services and citizen associations that serve as positive community resources.

The community assets range from emergency services and schools to food banks and health services and more. The map was created in partnership with the City of Windsor and County of Essex geomatics departments in consultation with 211 Ontario and Community Safety and Well-Being (CSWB) partner organizations.

More than 1,200 community assets have been identified and categorized on the map to provide a simpler view of available resources across the region. Work continues with CSWB partners to build upon the assets identified in this map to create an even more comprehensive tool.

For a high level overview of the project, including a demonstration of how to use the map, please see our launch video.
