Optimist Community Centre is centrally located in beautiful Memorial Park with its large naturalized forest, plus sports fields in Optimist Park. It is available for meetings, sports events, and social events.

ABC Room

Dimensions: 57' x 23.5'
Capacity: 60-70 people

Windows in this room provide natural light and a view of the parkland outside. It can be divided in two sections and is ideal for smaller events, card parties, showers, etc.

Craft Room

Dimensions: 30' x 15.5'
Capacity: 15 people

The Craft Room has lots of counter space available for craft making and other fun activities.

Gymnasium

Dimensions: 68' x 44.5'
Capacity: 150-300 people

(depends on event and floor layout)

The regulation-sized Gymnasium features hardwood floors and is suitable for basketball, volleyball, badminton, floor hockey, and indoor soccer. It easily transforms into a banquet setting with indirect lighting. A serving window from the kitchen and a stage that features a sound system make a nice setting for receptions, banquets, and other social gatherings.

Kitchen

The Kitchen connects directly with Gymnasium and is included in the rental of the Gym.
