Asset Limits

• The asset limit for a single person is $100,000.
• The asset limit for a family/benefit unit of two or more is $150,000 for the household.
• Rent-Geared-to-Income (RGI) households that have combined assets above those limits would be ineligible for RGI.
• Asset limits will not be applicable to waiting list applicants or RGI households if all household members are part of a social assistance benefit unit (i.e., Ontario Works or Ontario Disability Support Program).
