Software Automation Tester

• ​3-4 years of software development experience
• experience using OOP languates (C#, Java, or Python)
• experience with Selenium, Appium, Cucumber, or similar platforms
• experience with Postman or InSomnia
• strong in software engineering with a midset of improving software quality

• ​Microservices testing experience is an advantage

• ​Design and plan testing conditions, create and run test scripts and unit testing, and run test date sets to ensure appropriate and adequate coverage and control
• Create test plans, complex test specifications, test procedures, test results and test trends to follow the best practices and standards in addition to allcoating and overseeing test resources, ensuring that the test polcies are adhered to
• Create and maintain test cases to follow the best practices and standards in improving quality of released software
• Provide test input for project or program support/briefings, and on reviews and evaluations, as required
• Coordinate withe development and release teams, ensuring that test policies are followed
• Identify risks associated with the testing and develop appropriate mitigation plans
• Conduct tests as defined in the test plans and design
• Manage test environment requirements

Note: Successful candidate is able to work remotely 

Other 

• Experience working in an Agile environment
• Knowledge of software testing methodologies
• Experience testing APIs (Postman and Swagger)
• Mostly backend / API Testing (no UI testing on this project)
• Strong understanding of service integrations
• Understanding of how data flows through a complex architecture
• Extensive testing experience with SQL
