City of Windsor Birthday / “Explore Your City” Event

The Chimczuk Museum and Art Windsor-Essex are offering free admission as part of the City of Windsor’s Birthday and “Explore Your City” celebrations. Stop by for family-friendly activities, including self-guided crafts in our Children’s Gallery and a scavenger hunt.
Tours of the Historic Duff-Bâby House
Location: Duff-Baby House, 221 Mill Street

Visit the historic Duff-Bâby House and learn about the restoration work being done on this 225-year-old historical gem. Free event, open to the public.
François Baby House Tour & Sunday Hours
Location: François Baby House, 254 Pitt Street West
Date: June 30, 2024
Time: 2 to 5 p.m.
Free admission
Visit the François Baby House for one of our monthly Sunday openings. In honour of National Indigenous History Month, there will be a guided tour starting at 2:30 p.m. exploring the intriguing story of one of Museum Windsor’s most interesting artifacts: “Tecumseh’s Flag.” Free event, open to the public.
Ford City Walking Tour
$5.50 per person, advance purchase required
Join Museum Windsor staff on a guided walking tour of Ford City. Topics include the Ford Motor Company of Canada, prohibition, immigration in the early 20th century, the Great Depression, the Ford Strike of 1945, the riot at Our Lady of the Lake, and more! Tickets are $5.50 per person and must be purchased in advance. Visit the Chimczuk Museum or call 519-253-1812 to purchase tickets.
