2024 Ward Meetings Begin with Wards 5, 6 and 1
Windsor’s Ward 5, Ward 6 and Ward 1 will host the first three of ten ward meetings to be held across the city this year
Councillors Ed Sleiman, Jo-Anne Gignac and Fred Francis will be joined at their respective meetings by Mayor Drew Dilkens and members of City administration, and while the focus will be on the ward hosting each meeting, all are welcome to attend. We also encourage anyone who cannot attend but would like to have their say to call 311, Monday to Friday (excluding holidays) 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. or visit CityWindsor.ca/CustomerService for more ways to reach us.
As part of these ward meetings, Mayor Dilkens has launched a 2025 Budget Consultation Process to provide an additional avenue for Council engagement and resident feedback to support the 2025 City Budget. This includes establishing three finance committees of Councillors to examine the possibility for operational and service-level savings in all City departments, as well as an online survey that will be available for all Windsor residents from September 17 to October 23, 2024, to provide direct feedback, re-affirm support for critical infrastructure projects, and offer suggestions for reliable service delivery.
