The Schulich School of Medicine & Dentistry at Western University has a long tradition of excellence, beginning with founding the medical school in 1881 and continuing with the formation of the dental school in 1964.

Their reputation has been built by dedicated teachers, breakthrough discoveries, commitment to social responsibility and affinity for strategic partnerships.

Western University has partnered with the University of Windsor to offer the Doctor of Medicine (MD) program and residency training programs in family medicine and psychiatry in Windsor as part of the Schulich Medicine and Dentistry - Windsor Campus.

The MD program runs simultaneously at the two locations (in London and Windsor) and Windsor campus students are officially Western students, while also holding "affiliate" University of Windsor student status.
