Homesite Park

Homesite Park New Playground998 Villaire Avenue

Homesite Park, not to be confused with Walker Homesite Park, is today a well‑equipped neighbourhood park. In 1982, the 44th Windsor Venturer Company led a spirited campaign to restore Homesite Park to its former beauty, kicking off the project by voluntarily painting the park's playground equipment. Area residents also lent a helping hand, and the general condition of Homesite Park was soon greatly improved. A few years later, the Department of Parks and Recreation created asphalt pathways, improved landscaping and installed a creative play unit. Today, visitors to Homesite Park will find park benches, an assortment of playground equipment, and a walking trail.

In 2023, a new accessible playground was installed with rubber surfacing.
