The Central Housing Registry – Windsor Essex County (CHR-WEC) maintains a centralized waiting list for most of the social housing providers in Windsor and Essex County.

To apply for social housing or for more information on available housing and eligibility requirements, please visit the Central Housing Registry – Windsor Essex County website.

• The Central Housing Registry - Windsor Essex County (CHR-WEC) receives applications, assesses eligibility and coordinates a common waiting list for housing providers who are mandated to participate in the centralized access system.
• Responsibility for administering this function, including appropriate accountability was delegated by the service manager to the Windsor Essex Community Housing Corporation (CHC) under a Service Agreement.
