Sport and recreation centres are important places for people to participate in the activities they enjoy the most. Offering a wide variety of programs and services improves the participation rate and therefore the health and vitality of the community.

How are we doing?


Since 2007 the number of indoor ice pads has increased by one; the number of sport and recreation facilities has decreased by one; and the number of outdoor rinks, pools, soccer fields, baseball diamonds and tennis courts has remained the same.
