Gordie Howe International Bridge

Windsor-Detroit Bridge Authority (WDBA) is responsible for the delivery of the $5.7 billion Gordie Howe International Bridge project. The project delivers much-needed transportation improvements for international travellers between Windsor, Ontario and Detroit, Michigan; provides jobs and opportunities for growth to the region; and includes features that make this project truly distinctive.

There are four components to the project: the Canadian Port of Entry (POE), the bridge, the U.S. Port of Entry (POE) and the Michigan interchange, which includes connecting ramps to and from the US POE and local road improvements.

The project is being delivered through a public/private partnership. WDBA has selected Bridging North America (BNA) as its private-sector partner.
