Update on WFCU Centre Programming

Windsor Fire and Rescue Services responded to a fire at the WFCU Centre yesterday morning. The preliminary assessment indicates considerable damage to the roof above the AM800 CKLW community rink, rendering it out of service. As a result, all rentals for this rink will be relocated to the WFCU Centre main bowl area.

All other scheduled programming at the WFCU Centre will resume as planned at 12:00 p.m. today, Tuesday, April 29, 2025.

Following a thorough investigation, the City has taken all necessary precautions to ensure the safety of all users of the facility. Further updates will be provided as they become available.
