Step 1 - What is MyBenefits
MyBenefits is an online service available to residents of Ontario who are active Ontario Works or ODSP recipients. It is available 24/7 and is accessible from your desktop, tablet or mobile phone. It works on all the major browsers (Chrome, Safari, Firefox, Edge but NOT Internet Explorer).
MyBenefits allows you to:
- Get information about your case anytime, anywhere and on any device
- Report income from a job or training program
- View payment information
- Upload and report address, shelter expenses & phone number changes
- View letters online
- Provide proof of assistance
- Message your caseworker, upload documents -this messaging tool replaces caseworker emails
MyBenefits is great for reading letters, checking payment details, reporting income and address changes, sending messages to your caseworker and uploading documents required by your caseworker.
Step 2 - How to Register for MyBenefits
To get started, visit MyBenefits or MesPrestations. (Do not use Internet Explorer.)
Register in a few easy steps:
- Click on “register.”
- Read and agree to the terms of use.
- Enter member ID ######### and primary email you gave to your Ontario Works caseworker.
- Check email and click on verification link (within 30 minutes).
- Enter date of birth.
- Setup username and password (create your own login or use your online banking login).
Step 3 - Need Help Registering
Contact your ongoing caseworker.
They can assist you or connect you to a MyBenefits team that can assist you with enrolling.
This assistance can be done on the phone or in office.
Step 4 - Unable to Log into MyBenefits/Feedback
