751 to 1000 $25,000 plus $0.11 per trip
1,001-plus $30,000 plus $0.11 per trip

Applicant Requirements:

  • Application - Transportation Network Company (TNC).
  • Proof that the applicant is at least eighteen (18) years of age, if the applicant is an individual.
  • Two (2) valid pieces of government-issued identification for the individual applying on behalf of the TNC company. One must demonstrate proof of status in Canada (i.e. birth certificate, Canadian passport, citizenship card, permanent resident card or work permit) and one must have a photograph.
  • Articles of Incorporation or other incorporating documents.
  • Master Business licence, if applicable.
  • A certified copy of an annual return with contains a list of all shareholders of the corporation.
  • If a Partnership, the names and addresses of each member of the partnership, as well as the name under which the partnership intends to carry on business.
  • A list of all TNC Drivers that includes the following information:
    • Confirmation of the affiliation between the TNC and the Driver;
    • Full name, date of birth, address and phone number of the Driver;
    • The year, make, model and Ontario licence plate number of the vehicle to be used.
  • Sworn Statutory Declaration provided with the application.
  • Copy of the TNC identifier/logo to be displayed in the TNC Vehicle.
  • Proof of automobile liability insurance and an endorsement or automobile liability insurance form approved by the Financial Services Commission of Ontario (FSCO).
  • A Certificate of Commercial General Liability insurance in the amount of five million dollars ($5,000,000). The policy must show the Corporation of the City of Windsor as an additional insured, include a cross liability provision and have at least a thirty (30) day notice of material change/cancellation.
  • An indemnity in favour of the Corporation of the City of Windsor from and against claims, demands, losses, costs, damages, actions, suits, or proceedings that arise out of, or are attributable to the TNC's businesses and services.
