Applicant is requesting an amendment to Zoning By-law 8600 changing the zoning of the subject land from Commercial District 2.1 (CD2.1) to Residential District 3.2 (RD3.2) or a site specific provision to allow a multiple dwelling as an additional permitted use.
The applicant proposes to construct a five-storey multiple dwelling in the southeast corner of the overall parcel consisting of 63 dwelling units (16 one-bedroom units and 47 two-bedroom units). A total of 81 parking spaces will be dedicated to the multiple dwelling, including 4 accessible parking spaces. One loading space is proposed. The existing easterly most driveway will be used for vehicular access and will be shared with the existing commercial development.
