Street Space is paving the way for painted crosswalks to be installed in various Windsor neighbourhoods to showcase, promote, and share creative work. Opportunities within Street Space include increased community involvement; enhancement of the cultural experience for residents and visitors; and celebration of Windsor's arts, culture, and heritage. Street Space Program Guidelines
The Cultural Affairs team in partnership with Transportation Operations will work with you to coordinate and facilitate your Street Space Painted Crosswalk project.
Street Space is open to all Windsor residents, all ages, and all genres of painting.
Street Space projects can be submitted by individual artists, community activists, or by a group (i.e. individual artist/arts or community group/elementary or secondary class, etc.).
Street Space provides an opportunity for residents of Windsor to help shape and enrich their neighbourhood through creativity, collaboration, and positive community involvement
Applications will be accepted on an ongoing basis. All applicants to Street Space are required to complete the
Street Space Application. All applications will be considered by the Street Space Project Team and will be selected based on the criteria outlined in the Street Space Program Guidelines.
