Historic Streetcar Restoration Open House

The City of Windsor recently acquired a piece of history: the question now is how best to show it off?

Streetcar #351, built in 1918 in Cincinnati, Ohio and operated here in Windsor, Ontario is now being restored to its original glory.  And while that work is being done, City officials are planning where to locate the finished streetcar, what potential it has for usage and what amenities would be best to accompany it.

A public open house with photos, maps, information and more will be held on January 31, and your input is wanted:

Streetcar Planning Open House:

5:00pm to 7:00pm
Wednesday, January 31, 2018
Chimczuk Museum
401 Riverside Drive West

City staff will be on hand to provide information, and a survey will be available to provide feedback on as well.

We hope to see you there.
