Sports Fields Status

Update as of July 17, 2019:

As of Wednesday, all City of Windsor diamonds and all City of Windsor rectangular fields (soccer, cricket, ultimate Frisbee, etc.) are open except for the following:

  • Jackson Park – Diamond #4
  • Ford Test Track – Soccer #2, #6, #8 (closed for the entire season)
  • Kishkon Park - #3, #4 (closed until further notice)

Please note that outdoor fields and diamonds have been deemed playable but have not received the TLC (grass cutting, line painting) they would normally receive if the weather conditions were dry. Please use your best judgement. If you feel that the field conditions are questionable, the safety of the players is compromised or the field is at risk of being damaged, please do not play on them.

Thank you for the support and for assisting with communicating this message. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause and we are happy to reschedule your cancelled games: please forward a “Change in Field Allocation Form” to Jim Golab at jgolab@citywindsor.ca, at your convenience.
