Parking To Resume for Mackenzie Hall Users

The parking lot adjacent to Mackenzie Hall will soon be available again for use.

The provincial government owns the lot and adjacent jail building and had recently decided the lot would be taken out of use as the property has been listed for sale. However, the Office of Windsor Mayor Drew Dilkens reached out to Minister of Infrastructure of Ontario Monte McNaughton, and Government and Consumer Services Minister Todd Smith about the decision, and both were very receptive to the mayor’s request to allow continued use of the lot until such time as the jail property is sold.

The barriers installed will be removed as soon as possible, and the usual usage will resume.
