All tickets are sold in Canadian funds. Transit Windsor accepts US funds at par and all change is given in CDN funds.

The Auto Show Express provides direct door-to-door service to Cobo Center.  Pre-purchasing an admission ticket is a huge convenience because it saves you money on the current exchange rate and eliminates waiting in line at Cobo Center.

The NAIAS public show runs from January 14 - 22, 2017.  Doors open daily at 9:00 a.m. and close at 10:00 p.m., except on the last day when it closes at 7:00 p.m.  No admittance to the show one hour prior to closing.

Tickets are sold daily at the Windsor International Transit Terminal (WITT) from 7:00 a.m. until 9:00 p.m. and at Transit Centre, Monday through Friday, from 8:30 a.m. until 4:00 p.m. You may also purchase your tickets at any City Customer Care Centres Discounted NAIAS admission tickets for seniors (65+) or children (7-12) are only available at Cobo at $7.00 in US funds.  Children 6 and under are free with a parent or guardian.

Crowds enjoying the 2014 auto showCustomers may purchase tunnel bus tickets at WITT on event day or, they may choose to pay exact fare, $5.00 one-way, directly on the bus.  You may also purchase tunnel tickets in advance at one of the many sales outlets throughout Windsor.  For a list of sales outlets, customers may visit our website at www.citywindsor/transitwindsor/Fares/Where-to-buy.  Auto Show tickets are not available for purchase at these outlets.

Tunnel bus service is augmented with additional buses to Cobo Center, on demand, during peak travel times.  Full accessible service is provided and detailed information is available by calling customer service at 519.944.4111 or 311.  Buses leave from Windsor International Transit Terminal, located at 300 Chatham Street West, according to the current timetable:

  • January 14 & 21 – Saturday schedule
  • January 15 & 22 – Sunday schedule
  • January 16 through 20 – Weekday schedule
Every passenger must pay the applicable fare on cross-border travel between Windsor and Detroit, regardless of age.  Additionally, proof of citizenship is required when crossing the Windsor-Detroit border.  Read about border crossing requirements.
