Each month, the City of Windsor offers a number of different workshops to help you enhance your skills, improve your resume and find your next job. Click on the link below for our monthly workshop schedule.

Interview Skills

Group-session workshop designed to prepare job seekers for behaviour-based interviews. This half-day session includes information on the latest behaviour-based interviewing questions and how to follow up with employers on successful interviews, and a practice one-on-one mock interview is also available.

Cover Letter & References

This group session is designed to tailor your cover letter and references to suit the job you're applying for. Focus on conveying an important message to the recruiter or hiring manager that you have reviewed what the employer wants and that your qualifications are worth more than just a glance. Add a list of references, and you have a complete application package.

Job Search

Group-setting interactive workshop that looks at local labour market trends, job posting sources, internet-based job boards, access to temporary lists, industry directories and insight into accessing the hidden job market. Ask about mock interviews.

Resume Building

This online resume workshop provides detailed explanations on how to create a professional resume. This session gives the user a step-by-step design to help job seekers with preparing a resume for any job opportunity. It also includes information and tips on how to develop a resume for various job opportunities.
